Palibex to Grow by Over 50% in the Next Two Years

This Growth Will Be Supported by Network Expansion, Strategic Partnerships with Other Operators, and European Distribution

Palibex has revealed its projections, major projects, and strategies through to 2026, during which it aims to increase its business volume by more than half, coordinating 6,000 pallets per day and over 1.5 million annually. This growth will be made possible by the decentralization process that the urgent transport network has undergone in recent years, allowing it to move goods more quickly and competitively through new routes and coordination centers.

The company, which will end 2024 with a growth rate of over 8% and nearing one million pallets, has prepared its operational model to make a significant volume leap, projected by CEO Jaime Colsa at a 25% increase for the next year, reaching 1.2 million pallets, and more than 50% by 2026.

This growth, in addition to being rooted in the quality that defines the network, will be tied to new projects such as establishing strategic alliances with other operators to bring in more volume and customers. “We will carefully select these partners because they must fully understand our business model and align with our character and identity,” emphasizes Jaime Colsa.

Another strategy will be the expansion and enhancement of the network through new franchisees. “We will review the possibility of incorporating more companies on a province-by-province basis if it improves the profitability of both our current and new franchisees. By sharing the same province, with both current and expected volume, we can generate significant savings in distribution by serving smaller areas and offering commercial advantages in transit times and costs, utilizing direct routes,” Colsa adds.

Finally, Palibex plans to become a distributor for major European companies in Spain. “Being an independent transport network and not belonging to any group gives us the freedom to collaborate with European operators to handle pallet distribution across the Iberian Peninsula,” Colsa explains. In this way, Palibex will not only distribute pallets for its own network but also for other transport companies, logistics operators, and agents of all kinds.

A recent example of network expansion that also represents a strategic partnership for the future is Transportes Boyacá, a leading logistics company, which this week became a new Palibex franchisee in Madrid. Boyacá will not only strengthen the service in this area but also enhance its commercial capacity and improve customer service.

Reflecting on all these projects, Jaime Colsa expresses pride in the network’s evolution and confidence in a promising future. “Decentralization has been a success, and all the adjustments we’ve made to the model are bearing fruit,” he said.
