One of the key factors supporting Palibex’s growth is the expansion of its international operations, which it considers strategic within its activities. The company is actively working to achieve the same level of development internationally as its national one.
Though still in the early stages, Palibex’s international services have grown by 67% compared to 2021, the year when Palibex decided to expand abroad. Since then, aside from Portugal, a country they were already working with, the urgent transport network has gained a presence in Morocco and, within the European market, in France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland, Austria, and Switzerland. Currently, Italy and France are the primary growth engines.
The International Director of Palibex, Lluís Gay, emphasizes that ‘the main objective is to continue strengthening strategic alliances to build a network outside our borders that offers the same reliability and commercial solutions as it does within the peninsula.’
Currently, Palibex is finalizing several collaboration agreements in different European countries. ‘We don’t want to move the most pallets; instead, we aim to be the best international pallet transport network through allies who share our commitment to quality. We have no doubt that the volume will come, but before that, we need to build the network on solid foundations,’ adds Lluís Gay.
After the change in its network model, Palibex also consolidates itself as a solution for importers looking to inject goods at the entry points to our country or at any of the new coordination centers. This allows for a highly innovative capillary distribution within the Iberian Peninsula, diverging from current models of urgent pallet transportation.
