More than 11.000 euros raised for Movember
Thanks to the Network’s solidarity, Palibex has achieved second place in the companies fundraising ranking
Palibex has been again one of the main fundraising companies in the annual Movember Campaign, international Foundation that promotes the investigation and prevention of physical and mental diseases in men, as well as the increasing upturn of suicides and psychological disorders because of stress and anxiety.
In the team ranking, Palibex has achieved second place with 11.425 euros, only after Butcher Brothers Movember Association. Moreover, in the individual category, Palibex’s CEO Jaime Colsa, has been the leading fund-raiser with a total of 9.400 euros.
Throughout the month of November, Palibex has invited employees, collaborators, and other company contacts to grow their moustaches and to register themselves at the PBX Team with the goal of having a big support group for Movember. Moreover, they encouraged to engage in sports and participate in the “Move” challenge, that consisted of covering 60 kilometers for the 60 men that die every hour in the world.
Having a healthy and active life is one of the main objectives of Movember and Palibex Sonríe, the plan developed by the company to promote the wellbeing of its employees and for which they have been recognized by Forbes and Sigma Dos, as “one of the 75 best companies to work for in Spain”.
Palibex collaborates with Movember ever since their start and they are one of the most active Spanish companies with this solidarity cause for which they contribute with original actions and artistic interventions, transformation of their trucks in mobile barbershops or the shaving of the employees in their own warehouse. One of their last initiatives has been the restauration of the mural “Mo-Evolution” from Okuda, inspired in the most famous moustaches, in the warehouse façade in Madrid.
The money raised by the PBX Team will be destined to the funding of innovative projects for mental health and prevention of suicides, prostate cancer, and testicular cancer promoted by the Movember Foundation, that reaches currently 1.250€.
